About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Porter at Chartwells - Independent. As a Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization in public areas, including the lobby and other common spaces.
- Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting staff in setting up rooms and moving furniture as needed.
- Handle reception duties, such as booking theatre tickets or making restaurant reservations, in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond promptly to customer requests and provide assistance as required.
- Run errands and perform other tasks as assigned to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities.
- Ensure the safety of customers by placing and removing signage indicating wet floors or other hazards.
Requirements
- Be adaptable and able to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Be an excellent communicator and able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Have experience delivering high-quality customer service and a strong understanding of customer needs.
