About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Maximising Independence Service team at Nottinghamshire County Council. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and wellbeing for adults of all ages across the county.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide information, advice, and guidance to individuals to help them maximise their independence
  • Set short-term goals and identify support to achieve those goals
  • Work with a strengths-based approach to help individuals ascertain what a good life looks like to them
  • Collaborate with a multi-skilled and varied workforce to provide a fast-paced and supportive service
  • Receive regular supervision and support to attend training and progress your career
Requirements
  • Qualified Occupational Therapist with at least two years of experience
  • Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and registration with the HCPC
  • Full driving licence and access to transport (or alternative arrangements for disabled employees)
