Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Finance Management Accounts team, specifically within the Revenue Reporting division in Liverpool. This team is tasked with Revenue recognition and reporting on Assets under Management. The successful candidate will adhere to established standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting, analyzing, reporting, and addressing any discrepancies in the reporting of Assets under Management (AUM) for the Group.
  • Extracting revenue data from various source systems to compile, review, and record revenue entries.
  • Reconciling revenue entries with cash receipts and promptly addressing any discrepancies.
  • Updating reconciliations for control frameworks and preparing files for auditors.
  • Assisting in the compilation of Revenue and AUM data for regulatory submissions.
  • Developing an understanding of the operational systems utilized for fee collection and business services, while proactively resolving issues.
  • Ensuring all tasks are executed to a high standard, meeting deadlines, and reporting any discrepancies to your line manager within agreed timelines.
  • Responding to inquiries via telephone and email in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing team needs.
  • Contributing to the evaluation of team tasks, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency. Participating in and supporting any ad-hoc project-related tasks as needed.
  • Fostering a culture of quality to minimize errors and ensure exceptional service levels. Ensuring all work is completed with precision and escalating issues to the manager or relevant department when necessary.
  • Providing support and coverage for team members and the broader department as required.
  • Committing to ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in line with industry, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Operating in compliance with Group policies and procedural manuals.
  • Performing any additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification.
  • Essential experience in a management accounts environment.
  • Experience in a financial services organization is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with systems and operational processes is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being comfortable working independently.
  • Demonstrated capacity to comprehend and summarize complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Quick problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
