About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Assistant to join our team at London South Bank University. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our Deans and Directors, ensuring the smooth operation of our School of Law and Social Science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to Deans and Directors, including diary management, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
  • Manage and coordinate student-focused events, including logistics, catering, and marketing.
  • Deal with finance issues, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense claims.
  • Support academics with administrative tasks, including research projects, publications, and presentations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

About You:

We are looking for a self-starter who is willing to take initiative and get involved in a variety of tasks. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role supporting senior executives and managers within a large organisation.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
