Nursery Director

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery, Bright Stars Nursery Ltd. Our aim is to provide an outstanding childcare experience and the best opportunities for children to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Take full responsibility for staffing, induction, training, and development needs.
- Reporting and Monitoring: Ensure systems are in place for accurate reporting and monitoring.
- Financial Management: Adhere to occupancy and financial budgets and targets.
- Database Management: Ensure the Connect Childcare database system is accurate.
- Extra-Curricular Activities: Ensure extra-curricular activities meet the requirements of the EYFS.
- Staff Ratios and Deployment: Ensure the nursery and all rooms adhere to staff ratios and staff deployment.
- Safeguarding and Child Protection: Take full responsibility for safeguarding and child protection within the nursery.
- Delivery of EYFS: Ensure the delivery of the EYFS.
- Liaison with Professionals: Ensure there is appropriate and timely liaison with outside professionals.
- SENDCo Support: Work closely with the Nursery SENDCo in all aspects of SENDCo.
- Recruitment Process: Ensure the safer recruitment process is adhered to.
- Rotas and Registers: Complete the weekly rotas and registers for staff and children attendance.
- Policies and Procedures: Provide the required policies and procedures and the necessary support.
- Children's Health and Well-being: Ensure the physical health and well-being of children within the nursery.
