Job Title: SEND Learning Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Worker to join our team at a fantastic special school in Cheltenham.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with complex medical needs students and make a real difference in their lives. As a SEND Learning Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with complex medical needs, working closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with special needs and disabilities, as well as complex medical needs. You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and able to work well as part of a team. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with complex medical needs, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with complex medical needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility
  • Support students with their educational and social needs
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
