The Climate & Water Manager will play a crucial role in the Resilient Water Accelerator (RWA) team, responsible for managing the integration of climate policy and water management expertise into the RWA's programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Ensure the timely and within-budget delivery of RWA's programs and initiatives, utilizing project management software to track and report progress.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and integrate findings to strengthen RWA's program design and delivery, providing regular updates on climate-related water policies, practices, and trends in RWA's focus countries and target markets.
- Tool Development: Collaborate in the creation and rollout of tools, templates, and business processes for RWA team members to integrate climate policy and climate finance into program operations.
- Communication: Summarize, synthesize, and effectively communicate climate and water-related ideas for internal and external audiences, supporting communications strategy and audience segmentation efforts.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience working in climate-related issues, with a preference for climate policy in middle-income countries and/or climate-related finance.
- Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative research, analytical, and modeling skills, with an ability to summarize, synthesize, and articulate findings in clear and coherent ways for diverse audiences.
- Education: Masters' degree in one of the following or related fields: climate science, climate and/or water policy, sustainability-related finance, business administration, public administration, public policy.
