About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Engineer to join our team in Chatham, UK. As a key member of our European Solution Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and implementing innovative ICT solutions for our customers.

As a Solution Engineer, you will work closely with our project, sales, product, and service management teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs. Your focus will be on developing and presenting technical designs, creating solution concepts, and supporting project work packages from network design to documentation and implementation.

You will also be responsible for interacting with our customers' project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication. Travel within Europe is expected, and you will be based in our Chatham office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and document customer requirements
  • Create solution designs and refine system architecture designs
  • Review installation designs and create configuration files
  • Develop and conduct functional acceptance tests
  • Handover completed projects to service management and technical support staff
Requirements
  • Degree in computer science or IT networks or background in IT network engineering
  • Strong LAN/WAN networking capabilities
  • Experience in system architecture design and creating technical documentation
  • Linux experience
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Independence and ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent in English spoken and written
