Commercial Account Handler

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our team at City Insurance Group. As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for advising clients on various insurance products, including Motor Fleet, SME Business, Property Owners, PI, Shop and Offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Using our bespoke computer system, Acturis & CDL, to manage client accounts and provide insurance advice.
  • Engaging with clients by telephone and email to discuss their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Liaising with insurance companies to make amendments and discuss existing policies.
  • Maintaining a high level of personal smartness and presentation to ensure a professional image.
  • Identifying client needs and matching them to the most suitable insurance products.
  • Ensuring adherence to company procedures and compliance obligations.
  • Treating clients fairly and providing sound advice to meet their insurance needs.
Requirements:
  • Good standard of education.
  • Good understanding of Windows programs, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment, maintaining concentration and attention to detail.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
  • Good ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Quick learner.
Desirable:
  • Good listening and observation skills.
  • Previous experience in customer care or a related field.
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and progress.
  • Naturally helpful person prepared to work hard.
