Job Title: Accident and Emergency Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accident and Emergency Nurse to join our team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Management: You will be responsible for line management and supervision of staff, allocation of workload, and reporting deficiencies to the Ward Leader as appropriate.
  2. Patient Care: You will support senior and less experienced staff in the provision of patient care, assess care needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate individual programmes of care.
  3. Multidisciplinary Liaison: You will liaise with all disciplines and departments, which interface with care delivery, and encourage good working relationships between all members of the multidisciplinary team.
  4. Clinical Governance: You will assist in setting, maintaining, and monitoring standards of care, actively supporting the development and implementation of a written nursing philosophy, and ensuring an approach to care which recognises the needs and views of patients and their carers.
  5. Education and Training: You will participate in ongoing personal professional development programmes, teach and develop all grades of staff, and create a learning environment conducive to the acquisition of further knowledge and skills.
  6. Research and Audit: You will demonstrate a commitment to the development of research skills, assist in the application and evaluation of current research findings, and participate in appropriate research/evaluation studies within the clinical environment.
