Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at ACS Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our Workshop and Service department, you will play a crucial role in providing a first-class service to our clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out onsite visits to customer sites, using our equipped onsite vehicle, to complete inspections, service, repairs, and testing of safety equipment in accordance with current legislation and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, providing technical support via phone or onsite, and inputting hire and service information onto our Syrinx database system.
  • Update and maintain existing information on the Syrinx database system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support to end users, and maintain high standards of housekeeping within the workshop, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Responsible for keeping the onsite vehicle in good working order, reporting any issues, and ensuring it is always clean and maintained.
  • Support the rest of the team when not onsite, and undertake any other tasks as required.
About You
  • Previous experience in a workshop environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Current and valid driving license (category B as a minimum).
  • Good MS Office suite and databases skills.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills, including the ability to multi-task in a controlled manner.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
  • Excellent people skills and customer focused.
  • Training will be provided where required on systems.
  • Manufacturer training will be given after a completion of a probationary period.
