About the Role

Alliance Medical Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at Woking MRI, which falls under our Ashford and St. Peter's MRI units in Surrey. The role is based across two sites, Woking and Chertsey, operating 4 MRI scanners. Our team of Radiographers and Administrators provide an efficient and professional service to patients, the Trust, and our private referrers.

You should ideally have experience in a healthcare environment, as you will be required to meet and greet patients. A key element of the role is to make telephone bookings for patients attending our services. To be successful in this role, you must have good communication skills, both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills. A flexible, organized, and enthusiastic attitude is essential.

Please note that this role will be primarily based at Woking MRI, however, you will be required to work shifts in rotation across Woking and Chertsey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
  • Make telephone bookings for patients attending our services.
  • Meet and greet patients, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Organize filing systems and computer files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures.
