Electrical Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Pursuit Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out fault diagnostics on Electrical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment
  • Provide support to the production shift supervisor in reacting to breakdowns efficiently and successfully
  • Facility maintenance, ensuring optimum operation of all ancillary and peripheral systems in the plant and warehouse
  • Responsible for plant facility and ancillary services
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical systems, electronic drives and controls and engineering regulations
  • Awareness of basic PLC fault finding (Siemens)
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance documents i.e. electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams

Requirements:

  • Completed a maintenance engineering apprenticeship (Mech-elec/Elec-mech)
  • 5 years of related experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance or project roles
  • HNC/ONC or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field and 18th Edition
  • Aware of all IEEE, BS7671 Wiring Regs and Electricity at Work regulations including all safety rules applying to electrical work
