Job Posting - Office Coordinator

We are currently looking for a skilled and committed Office Coordinator to become a vital member of our team at Adecco.

This multifaceted position requires a proactive mindset and adaptability. The ideal candidate will undertake various administrative responsibilities, ensuring the efficient operation of our educational institutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and reconciling petty cash transactions.
  • Maintaining training records and ensuring staff compliance with online learning and orientation programs.
  • Organizing induction training sessions, securing venues, and confirming arrangements with the central office.
  • Requesting IT access for new employees.
  • Procuring necessary equipment for the institutions as needed.
  • Issuing purchase orders and coordinating with vendors regarding invoices and credit notes.
  • Overseeing subscription renewals.
  • Processing ad-hoc BACs payments.
  • Providing reception support at least one day per week and as needed.
  • Arranging meals for visitors and managing sandwich orders.
  • Assisting with kitchen supply procurement when inventory is low.
  • Supporting educators and teaching staff with materials and class-related requests.
  • Keeping health and safety documentation updated and organized.
  • Conducting checks in the medical room and completing required documentation.

Requirements:
  • Basic financial management experience, particularly in petty cash handling.
  • Proficiency in telephone communication and message-taking.
  • Awareness of safeguarding protocols due to the sensitivity of the student population.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Availability during term time plus two weeks, preferably at the end of the summer break.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a school environment and respond to requests effectively.

Working Hours and Compensation:

This is a part-time role, comprising 32.5 hours per week, from 9 am to 3:30 pm, five days a week. Some flexibility may be considered to accommodate personal commitments. The annual salary for this position is £17,873, based on a pro-rata rate of £11.72 per hour.
