Senior Transport Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transport Planner to join our team at Culina Group. As a Senior Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the site operation with planning transport, ensuring compliance with WTD & EU regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the Transport day operation, ensuring service levels are achieved and maintained.
- Plan driver and vehicle resource to achieve delivery/collection times, creating and updating daily run summary.
- Effectively communicate with the Planning team and other depots.
- Provide 24/7 communication Transport link with Customer Services and Sales Order Processing.
- Monitor retailer arrival and departure times, ensuring deliveries are made within the specified windows.
- Find the best fit solution for customer collections, adhering to collection times.
- Arrange deliveries using nominated contractors for special instruction deliveries and re-deliveries.
- Liaise and plan drivers in for meetings/courses as required.
- Significant transport experience in FMCG environment.
- Planning and organising skills, high level of numeracy.
- Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours.
