Network Service Manager Job Description

Matchtech is seeking a skilled Network Service Manager to join their Information Management and Technology team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage services from strategic suppliers and internally delivered towers.
  • Ensure service compliance, accessibility, and relevancy in terms of definition, cost, and performance.
  • Coordinate trials, product launches, and support communications and training.
  • Provide input to the service continuity planning process and implement resulting plans.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation for databases and applications support.
  • Advise on Network Service security, licensing, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery needs.
  • Conduct formal reviews with suppliers to assess service performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Requirements:
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of medium-sized projects.
  • Good understanding of SIAM and ITIL processes.
  • Experience working with budgets and demonstrating financial control.
  • Understanding of current network infrastructure and products.
  • Experience working with or for outsourced service providers.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent experience in managing networks.
  • Trained to at least ITIL Foundation level, with appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other capability training.
