ESG Officer Role at CMS Distribution

As an ESG Officer at CMS Distribution, you will play a critical role in supporting the People Operations Compliance Manager in driving the company's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. This is a supporting role that will help steer the future direction of CMS's ESG practices and enhance the company's reputation and relationships with investors, customers, suppliers, employees, and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support with research, presentations, and process roll-outs to Senior Directors and the wider business.
  • Support the People Operations Compliance Manager in coordinating ESG and Compliance Project Management from start to completion.
  • Focus on the Carbon Footprinting Project and social best practices and compliance initiatives across the business.
  • Drive the collection, organisation, and analysis of ESG data to meet global ESG reporting and communication needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' office administrator experience from an ESG background.
  • Emotional Intelligence and Creative Thinking.

Travel Requirements:

Travel to other CMS locations in the UK, Ireland, and Internationally will be required.
