About the Role

Fugro is seeking a 2nd year undergraduate student studying an Earth Science related degree to join the Geotechnical team in a year in industry placement as a Geotechnical Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collate, process and present data on and run/lead projects of low to medium complexity.
  • Process relevant data, including error analysis and correction.
  • Perform administrative duties, including maintaining accurate and complete survey logs.
  • Perform quality control/assurance checks on collated data and feature data for delivery to clients if required.
  • Recognise opportunities for process improvement.
  • Recommend changes to existing workflows.
  • Communicate needs to software developers.
  • Requires expertise in discipline applicable data processing/GIS software and keeps up to date on latest revisions.

About the Team

You will work with other engineers and gain exposure outside the geotechnical team as you will also need to work alongside colleagues from other departments.
