Job Title: Psychology TeacherJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students, assessing their progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Psychology lessons to students, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and teaching methods, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of psychological theories and concepts, staying up-to-date with best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, providing clear and concise information about student progress and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching Psychology at secondary school level.
  • Strong understanding of psychological theories and concepts, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a teaching context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education or Psychology.

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
