About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Henry Martin Group, specializing in residential development. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project in Newham, valued at £42 million.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and management of subcontract documentation, ensuring compliance with JCT Design and Build (D&B) contracts.
  2. Financial Management: Oversee the tracking of project costs, prepare reconciliations, and report financial status to stakeholders.
  3. Subcontractor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality workmanship.
  4. Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients on payments, variations, and final accounts, ensuring a smooth and transparent process.
  5. Team Collaboration: Participate in project meetings, assist with claims, and work closely with the Managing Surveyor to ensure project success.
Requirements
  1. Qualifications: BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  2. Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in residential construction with experience in JCT D&B contracts.
