We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our multi-disciplinary Tier 3 specialist Weight Management Service in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of our service to the population.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a complex and rapidly changing service with a focus on service redesign.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the coordination and delivery of our service.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive improvement, embed change, and standardize practice based on local requirements, national guidelines, and clinical best practice.
- Provide professional leadership to a team of staff, including recruitment, organization, and coordination of staff, conduct appraisals, and provide guidance and feedback on performance.
- Facilitate and supervise training programs for staff, encourage working groups, and research-based projects.
- Monitor sickness and absence, and take appropriate action.
- Ensure all staff adhere to relevant statutory regulations, policies, risk assessments, safety procedures, and COSHH regulations.
