About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Board as a Trustee. As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Freedom from Torture and contributing to our mission of providing support to survivors of torture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization
  • Contribute to the development of our policies and procedures
  • Support the Board in making informed decisions
  • Represent Freedom from Torture in a professional and respectful manner
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion. As a Trustee, you will be expected to:

  • Have a strong understanding of the organization's mission and values
  • Be able to commit to a minimum of 2-3 meetings per year
  • Be able to contribute to the Board's decision-making process
  • Be able to represent Freedom from Torture in a professional and respectful manner
