Job Summary
Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our client's team in the rubber industry. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and patented products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design new products using CAD software and create technical drawings
- Collaborate with manufacturing providers to ensure efficient production processes
- Contribute to the final assembly of products and create required documentation
- Update 3D models and drawings, and input parts into the MRP system
- Verify drawings for sign off and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Work closely with a small multi-disciplinary team on various projects
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in Mechanical Design
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Excellent mathematical skills and knowledge of mechanisms
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically SolidWorks
- Strong theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
