About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional and dynamic individual to join our leadership team as Head of Client Services. This role is to cover parental leave and is being offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Steer our Client Services and Strategy team with expertise and experience, overseeing key growth accounts in the Hydrogen portfolio.
  • Ensure unparalleled service and deliver outstanding results for our clients, fostering strong relationships and driving account growth.
  • Support and develop your team, collaborating with other Heads of Department to ensure the agency runs seamlessly and innovates continually to elevate performance.
  • Contribute to a culture where innovation thrives, encouraging and inspiring your team to present fresh ideas and challenge conventional norms.
What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, deeply understanding their businesses and consistently exceeding their expectations.
  • Lead and mentor the Client Services & Strategy team, fostering strong relationships and focusing on team development.
  • Drive growth by identifying and leveraging opportunities to increase revenue across key accounts.
  • Identify and present growth opportunities to clients in compelling ways, managing risks to the client relationship proactively.
  • Support new business efforts with the delivery of exceptional pitches and proposals.
  • Ensure quality control of client work, develop processes for continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional collaboration to achieve client success.
  • Stay informed about market trends affecting client industries and the latest social media industry news to inform client strategies.
Who You Are

Our ideal candidate is passionate about developing a positive and productive working environment and culture. To be successful, you'll need to understand the agency landscape, including experience managing budgets and financial reporting.

You'll also need:

  • Significant experience in a marketing / media agency environment, preferably with experience of working in social media.
  • Extensive experience working with cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with significant experience of line management, leading, motivating, and mentoring teams.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
