Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People Limited. The successful candidate will work in a Resource Base within a mainstream school in Shard End, supporting a child with Autism and global delay who is non-verbal.

About the Role:
  • Work alongside a supportive team of 4 staff members, including 3 Teaching Assistants and 1 Class Teacher.
  • Provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 2, working to the EYFS curriculum.
  • Utilize sensory and interactive resources to support the child's development.
  • May be required to support other children in the Resource Base.
Requirements:
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children who have additional needs.
  • Previous experience in a Primary School setting (preferably 6+ months).
  • Updated and clean DBS on the update service.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate children.
