Assistant Centre Director

This is a permanent role employed by Cobalt Consulting (UK) Ltd within a flexible workspace building, working with a client on a flexible contract. The client is a London-centric investor and developer who are passionate about architecture and space for occupiers.

The successful candidate will be front of house and will assist the Centre Manager in ensuring that the companies that occupy this flexible workspace building in Blackfriars receive a professional and personalised level of service. The role will involve hosting and managing regular events, and the desired candidate will also have a background in flexible workspace buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all occupiers and their visitors are treated in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
  2. Respond to any customer queries or complaints in a timely and efficient way.
  3. Monitor customer feedback and recommend adjustments to operations to improve customer satisfaction.
  4. Have pride in the building and ensure it presents as well as possible at all times.
  5. Foster positive relationships with occupiers and encourage a feeling of community within the building through day-to-day interactions and the curating and managing of regular events.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, understanding their needs and gaining their feedback, both positive and negative.
  7. Take guidance from the Centre Manager and wider on-site team and implement any changes promptly.

Required Skillset:

  1. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with occupiers and staff members.
  2. Relevant experience of customer service, preferably in services/managed workspace or related field.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to resolve issues efficiently.
  4. Assisting the Centre Manager in hosting events for occupiers; previous events experience desired.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs (previous use of the Office RnD platform would be desirable but not essential).
  6. Previous experience working in flexible workspace buildings.
