Job Title: Litigation Trainee Solicitor

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor to join our team at HQ as a Litigation Trainee Solicitor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal services to the Council in relation to litigation and advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing legal advice and representation to the Council in litigation matters
  • Assisting in the preparation and conduct of court cases
  • Conducting research and analysis to inform legal decisions
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor holding an unrestricted practising certificate issued by the Law Society of Scotland
  • Continual Professional Development up to date as required by the Law Society of Scotland
