Pharmacy Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Aspect Healthcare in Wimbledon.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services in a private hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of pharmacy technicians and assistants, providing guidance, support, and training as necessary.
- Oversee the accurate dispensing and distribution of medications in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor medication inventory levels across the hospital, ordering supplies as needed and maintaining appropriate stock levels to meet patient demand.
- Implement and maintain quality governance procedures to ensure the safety, efficacy, and integrity of pharmaceutical products and services.
- Participate in internal and external audits, addressing any findings or deficiencies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Optimize medication therapy and promote patient safety and well-being.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the pharmacy department, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Hold NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician or equivalent qualification.
- Be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a pharmacy setting is desirable but not essential.
