About the Role:
Premea Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to lead the design and development of motorcycle accessories. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for translating product requirements into robust and manufacturable designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new and updated motorcycle accessory projects, considering function, cost, manufacture, assembly, and quality.
- Produce high-quality 3D CAD models using CREO software and 2D engineering drawings in compliance with ASME standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Industrial Design, Product Development, Quality, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing.
- Liaise with internal departments, such as Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Assembly, as well as external departments, like Product Development, Computer-Aided Engineering, and Test Teams.
- Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements and have a good understanding of motorcycle regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably Pro-engineer/CREO.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering design of components and subassemblies.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as castings, forgings, sheet metal, and injection moldings.
- Good understanding of motorcycle chassis layout and construction.
- Experience in designing to regulatory requirements as applied to motorcycles.
