Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled UX Researcher, Quantitative to join our team at WhatsApp. As a key member of our product and business teams, you will be responsible for identifying research topics, designing and executing end-to-end custom primary research, and communicating results in compelling and creative ways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with product and business teams to identify research topics and develop research plans.
  • Design and execute end-to-end custom primary research using a wide variety of methods, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Communicate research findings and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways, using data visualization and storytelling techniques.
  • Collaborate with data science, design, product management, content strategy, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure research findings are integrated into product development and business strategy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research and apply this knowledge to improve our research methods and tools.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • Several years of experience in UX research, product development, or a related field.
  • Experience with survey design, response effects, and statistical analysis methods such as Regressions, ANOVA, and T-Tests.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with consumer products, consumer insights, or product development.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with consumer products, consumer insights, or product development.
  • Degrees in a human behavior-related field, such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.
