We are currently seeking a Mobile Cook Manager to join our dedicated team, delivering high-quality service to our residential care homes.
This is a mobile position, requiring flexibility to cover care homes across Norfolk for 40 hours each week, including some weekends and evenings. We offer compensation for mileage and travel time.
Your Responsibilities
As a Mobile Cook Manager, you will oversee and implement catering processes, ensuring compliance with hygiene, health & safety standards, and effective management of staff, cleaning, and waste control. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to the highest standards.
- Acting as a deputy in the absence of the Cook Manager.
- Contributing to exceptional levels of customer service.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of health & safety regulations, ensuring adherence to best food practices and hygiene procedures.
Your Experience
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in a customer-focused role within a catering environment, demonstrating the ability to deliver excellent service while showcasing:
- In-depth knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- A proven track record in team management.
- The capability to make swift decisions and adapt to changing requirements to meet client specifications.
- Strong communication skills.
- A valid driving license due to the travel requirements of the role.
