Gardening Sessions Volunteer

Creative Support is seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardening Sessions Volunteer to join our team at Orchard House, a move-on service for adults with mental health needs.

We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of gardening, particularly growing and looking after plants, to develop and run sessions for our service users. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to share their expertise and passion for gardening with others, while also contributing to the well-being and empowerment of our service users.

The role will involve:

  • Designing and delivering gardening sessions that cater to the needs and interests of our service users
  • Sharing knowledge and skills related to gardening, including plant care, gardening techniques, and garden maintenance
  • Collaborating with our service users to develop and implement gardening projects
  • Assisting with fundraising efforts to support our gardening project
  • Providing support and guidance to our service users in their gardening endeavors
