The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this exciting role, you will play a key part in driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities, building strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet their needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Manage an existing portfolio of clients and attract new clients to drive business growth.
- Sales and Marketing: Identify sales opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them. Collaborate with the Relationship Management Team to develop action plans that turn market potential into new business.
- Cross-Selling: Offer tailored services to clients to ensure they receive the best possible solutions for their needs.
- Client Relationships: Nurture existing client relationships to retain their business long-term and increase their share of insurance spend.
Requirements:
- Insurance Sales Experience: Existing general insurance sales experience is essential, with commercial insurance sales experience being desirable.
- Driver's License: Full UK Driver's license is required.
- Customer Environment: Experience working in a face-to-face customer environment and holding client meetings is essential.
- Prospecting and Acquisition: Experience prospecting for new clients and developing your own customer acquisition plans is required.
- Negotiation Skills: Effective negotiation skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
