About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join our Engineering team at Finsbury Food Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily maintenance of production equipment, dealing with unscheduled and emergency maintenance work, and ensuring quick and efficient management of breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily maintenance of production equipment
  • Deal with unscheduled and emergency maintenance work
  • Manage breakdowns and identify root causes
  • Book maintenance work through the Company CMMS
  • Deliver the maintenance programme in line with the planned preventative maintenance vision
  • Work closely with the site operations team to build positive relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Fully qualified multi skilled engineer with relevant qualifications
  • Electrical or mechanical bias
  • Previous working experience gained in an FMCG environment
  • Experience of working in a lean/continuous improvement environment
  • Flexible with a hand on approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Team player
