Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Purchasing Team Member to join our Commercial Services team at University Hospitals Dorset.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day operational buying activities for defined areas within the trust. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with a variety of colleagues and suppliers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise operational buying activities for defined areas within the trust

  • Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to meet operational requirements and support patient care
  • Lead and supervise a team to achieve operational goals and objectives
