Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer Team Leader to join our team at HSB Technical. As a Marine Engineer Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the workshop operations, ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of marine vessels and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for marine vessels and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of marine technicians and engineers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development for staff.
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a range of marine engines and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to propulsion systems, auxiliary equipment, and other marine systems.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed to the highest quality standards.
- Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide technical advice.
- Ensure all documentation and certification requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 NVQ in marine engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to travel to Brixham.
- Full UK Driver's License required.
