About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities. As a Learning Support Worker, you will provide highly person-centred 1:1 support to young adults, helping them to develop life skills, independence, social skills, leisure opportunities, educational provision, and community access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to learners with learning disabilities
  • Help learners to develop life skills, independence, and social skills
  • Support learners to access educational provision and community activities
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to the Project Worker, Year Leader, or Head of Safeguarding
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Good level of fitness and stamina due to the physical nature of the programme
  • Suitable references and a DBS check
  • Aged 18 and above and right to work in the UK
