Sustainability Compliance Specialist
Location: Cumbria
Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is a prominent provider of solutions and services within the energy, industrial, and petrochemical sectors. We are currently seeking a Sustainability Compliance Specialist to join our team in Cumbria as part of our strategic growth initiative.
- Act as the environmental liaison with the construction teams and subcontractors
- Oversee solid waste management, including duty of care inspections
- Coordinate with waste management contractors and environmental advisors
- Engage with wildlife management officers on ecological matters
- Conduct inspections and assessments to identify environmental health and safety performance gaps
The ideal candidate will possess a keen attention to detail, outstanding communication abilities, and proficiency in report writing. A background in a STEM discipline or an environmental qualification, coupled with experience in a construction-related environment, is essential. A proactive approach to safety and the willingness to address issues when necessary are key attributes.
