Job Overview

Due to significant growth in the UK, WOEHNER (U.K.) LIMITED is introducing a new role to support the expansion of our business. We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to contribute to the company's success by providing sales support to the overall sales team and assisting with light duties in the warehouse.

The successful candidate will report to the UK Country Manager and be responsible for generating and developing new business with new and existing customers. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing and potential customers
  • Conducting site visits as required to build relationships and understand customer needs
  • Working closely with customers to develop and deliver projects from inception to completion
  • Generating reports and providing insights to the management team to inform business decisions
  • Supporting the sales team with back-office functions and assisting with customer account management
  • Assisting with promotions and general marketing campaigns to drive business growth
  • Creating offers and quotes to meet customer needs
  • Maintaining the company's CRM system, ensuring all enquiries, offers, projects, and visit reports are logged and followed up in a timely manner
  • Performing light warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

  • Technician or graduate engineer (Electrical engineering or mechanical engineering) or comparable education
  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record of success
  • Good basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of an ERP system is desirable
