Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating for various industrial and commercial roofing and cladding systems, including twin-skin / built-up systems, composite panels systems, standing seam systems, GRP systems, fibre cement systems, laminated boards, and aluminium rainscreen systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Reviewing tender enquiries and specifications to gain an understanding of project requirements
* Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required
* Liaising with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices
* Producing formal quotations to clients
* Keeping good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
* Building and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
* Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
* Estimating for projects ranging in value from £5k to £2m
Requirements:
* Proven experience in estimating for roofing and cladding systems
* Strong understanding of various industrial and commercial roofing and cladding systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
