About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation Specialist to join our team at SSE Energy Solutions. As a key member of our Smart Metering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data used for OFGEM submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and record Guaranteed Standard failures from metering appointments, maintaining a business process that produces reliable and accurate data for internal regulation teams.
  • Approve and reject failure requests, adding associated payments to customer accounts, and prepare mail merge confirmation letters.
  • Ensure knowledge and training associated with Guaranteed Standards are provided to necessary personnel to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  • Complete monthly invoicing of Guaranteed Standards failures for all meter asset managers, managing any issues or queries through to resolution.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data into tangible information.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as analysis and reporting will be used for OFGEM submissions.
