The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an inquisitive nature, and a strong analytical mindset, demonstrating a genuine interest in dissecting processes to understand their functionality and application. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
About the Role:
- Analyzing and modeling exposure data utilizing third-party and proprietary catastrophe models and tools.
- Collaborating closely with underwriters to interpret catastrophe model-based analyses for risk selection related to global exposures.
- Contributing to the enhancement of exposure management strategies for non-modelled risks and territories.
- Assisting in the data aggregation process and fulfilling reporting obligations for the Commercial division, including monitoring compliance with internal and external limits.
- Supporting the data collection and monitoring of exposures for non-property lines of business.
- Strong comprehension of essential mathematical and statistical concepts, with the ability to convey them to a non-technical audience.
- Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with an analytical mindset and a passion for understanding complex systems.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust problem-solving capabilities along with analytical and research skills.
- Experience in handling large datasets is preferred.
