We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Support Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Special Education Support Professional, you will work closely with children and young adults who require individualized learning support, including those with Autism, Mental or Physical disabilities, ADHD/ADD, Visual or Hearing disabilities, and severe and profound learning disabilities.

Your role will involve working in mainstream classrooms, providing support to pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional development, and supporting pupils in achieving their academic and personal goals.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have recent experience of working in a mainstream classroom or with children with special educational needs in an educational setting. You will also need to have a strong passion for enhancing the development of pupils, an approachable and positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively with small groups and 1:1.
