Job Title: Medical Affairs Specialist

Merz Aesthetics UK and Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Medical Affairs Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our medical affairs team, you will be responsible for providing internal and external scientific services to support the development and commercialization of our aesthetic medicine products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide scientific support to internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product development teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to stay up-to-date on the latest medical and scientific developments in aesthetic medicine.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including PMCPA and medical governance.
  • Develop and deliver medical education programs to support the training of healthcare professionals in the use of our products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the Ax Medical strategy and ensure alignment on content and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Graduate with a life-science qualification.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and copy approval.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex medical messages.
  • Registered Pharmacist/Physician with Medical final signatory status.
  • A strong understanding of PMCPA and medical governance.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering medical education programs.
  • Experience with clinical trials, Good Clinical Practice, and/or experience with managing CROs and/or local clinical trial sites.
