Your Role: Shaping the Future of SecurityAs a Software Development Manager within our Identity and Access Management team, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding sensitive data across Amazon's vast ecosystem.
We are focused on building Access Policy Management systems that enable all Amazon teams to implement fine-grained access control (FGAC) for their sensitive data. Our products leverage FGAC to ensure that only authorized individuals have access to critical information.
What You'll Do- Lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge security solutions, ensuring they meet Amazon's rigorous standards.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
We are seeking a seasoned software development leader with a passion for security.
- Proven experience in managing engineering teams, fostering growth and delivering high-quality results.
- Deep understanding of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
- Experience in leading the design and development of multi-tier web services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction with cross-functional teams.
