About the Role:
Belcan is seeking a highly skilled Quality Advisor to join our team. As a Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for providing quality support to our projects, including quality assurance, quality control, and audit process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality-related advice and guidance to the project team.
- Capture all quality-related data, such as audit findings, non-conformities, observations, and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct internal and external audits, in accordance with the published project audit programme, and produce reports on audit outcomes.
- Prepare and review Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and supporting QA documentation.
- Liaise with Project Quality Control inspectors to ensure that all Hold Points/Witness Points are met in a compliant manner.
- Validate and implement the effectiveness of project corrective actions resulting from any NC or internal/external audits.
Requirements:
- Good engineering and QA/QC background.
- CQI membership or looking towards accreditation.
- Recognized and current Internal Auditor qualification.
- Development of project QA documentation (Quality Plans, ITPs, etc.) and review of supplier QA documentation.
- Demonstrable, current knowledge and experience of Quality Management Systems in a regulated environment.
- Ability to understand and interpret ISO Management System Standards, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Good understanding of ISO 45001 & 14001.
- +5 years' experience working in a highly regulated industry (petrochemical/Oil & Gas/Aviation, Construction).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience/qualification in one or more of the following special processes: NDT, heat treatment, surface treatment, dimensional verification.
- Pipework, steelwork, and insulation knowledge.
- Detailed knowledge of related specifications (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, PED, etc.).
- Travel to multiple sites.
