Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Treloar School & College. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with physical disabilities to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in a residential setting, educational learning, and life skills
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support students with physical disabilities to develop their independence and confidence
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, as well as providing one-to-one support to students
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in a relevant subject or willingness to work towards this
  • Good level of general education, including English and Maths at grade C/Level 2 or above (or equivalent)
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
