Chemical Production Team Leader

Are you an experienced Chemical Process Operator looking to advance your career?

We are currently seeking a Chemical Production Team Leader to oversee operations at our expanding manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in managing the shift activities of a chemical processing plant, utilizing resources provided by the Production Shift Manager to fulfill the immediate production objectives. You will be empowered to make decisions necessary to achieve production goals while strictly adhering to the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.

What You Can Expect: Fostering Excellence

Safety Stewardship : Your strong dedication to safety will establish the standard. Maintain high personal SHE awareness, ensuring adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations. You will be the protector of our team's safety. Operational Expertise : You will coordinate the production process. Ensure that products meet quality benchmarks and resource utilization is maximized. Your strategic approach will enhance efficiency and output. Team Development : Lead with intention. Inspire and nurture a team of Operators, promoting ongoing improvements in productivity and safety. Your leadership will be crucial to our success. Process Compliance : Accuracy is essential. Carry out all operations in accordance with established protocols. Your meticulousness will keep our processes efficient. Crisis Management : In times of emergency, you will be our stabilizing force. Collaborate with the Emergency Response Team, adhering to protocols to ensure safety and control. Ongoing Development : Engage in safety audits, risk evaluations, and incident investigations. Work closely with maintenance for effective repairs and planned improvements. Your flexibility will drive progress.

What Qualifications Do You Bring?

You should possess experience in a COMAH chemical manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of complex operations and health and safety regulations. Team management experience is essential, and a degree in chemistry or engineering, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.

You will follow a 12.33-hour continuous shift schedule, working 2 days, 2 nights, followed by 4 days off. This cycle repeats seven times, after which there is a 14-day extended break. All holidays are integrated into the shift pattern.
