Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed HSE / SHEQ Advisor to support our business in giving guidance, support, advice, and governance on all SHEQ related subjects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and implement the SHEQ strategy to ensure compliance with all HSES Regulations, company policies, and the BMS across the business.
  • Assist and promote the local and external audit programme to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide SHEQ advice and support at an operational level to ensure the business is compliant with all relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the identification of site SHEQ training needs and support the upskilling and development of the business operational teams.
  • Promote SHEQ initiatives and innovations across the business.
  • Support the business during near miss/incident/accident investigations and communicate with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate would hold, or be working towards, a relevant professional qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Prior experience in SHEQ, health and safety, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience of reviewing and producing SHEQ reports for managers and clients.
