Job Title: Bags Designer

Are you a creative and commercial designer looking to join a dynamic team at ASOS? We're seeking a talented Bags Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of our iconic Topshop brand.

About the Role

As a Bags Designer at ASOS, you will be responsible for researching, developing, and creating a market-leading Bags range for Topshop. This includes developing big deals, key seasonal profiles, and elevated pieces that meet the needs of our 20-something customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and develop new bag designs that meet the brand's commercial and trend-led product range requirements.
  • Work closely with the Buying and Technical teams to ensure that the product range is aligned with the brand's strategy.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and factories to develop new pieces for every season.
  • Manage and motivate junior team members, providing clear direction and regular feedback.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of brand purpose and Fashion with Integrity, ensuring that these principles are fully embedded within the team.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in designing bags within an aspirational brand or high street retailer.
  • Experience of working cross-functionally to deliver initiatives that have a positive commercial impact.
  • Proven ability to drive the success of a department or brand through strategic and commercial thinking.
  • Commercial handwriting and strong understanding of the Topshop brand and customer.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Adobe, CAD, and PLM.
